It was as expected. Great location and rooms are a bit on the older side, but they also had the lowest price on a last minute notice The front desk was friendly to me Great place to stop for a night I also really appreciated that they had a new shower head in the bathroom! Water pressure was great!
Very attentive and friendly staff. Clean room and great price for last minute needs. Had a few problems with noise on the first night; but they handled the situation immediately and well. The super sweet front desk girl was really helpful on getting an extremely last minute reservation for my roommate and her family. Will definitely be going back again!
I saw the mixed reviews, but this was a great hotel. The receptionist was extremely sweet and helpful, they upgraded our room, and it was most importantly CLEAN. Alaska has been hit or miss with the hotels in our price range. This was the best one we found so far. I would definitely recommend it
Nice historic hotel. It's just a short distance from the spit, but maybe a little too far to walk it. There is a restaurant on either side of the hotel with a coffee shop in one of them. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
My family and I stayed here on opening day, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cozy. Great spot with a lot of stuff to do within walking distance. will definitely stay again when I come back.
Great staff on site. Rooms are basic but are clean, comfortable with a fridge with a small freezer inside. Plenty of food options within walking distance and on one of the main roads in Homer. Enjoyed my stay.
Nice comfy rooms. Clean and rustic. The beds work great. The people who worked the front counter were wonderful, I had an emergency where I need it. Email printed out quickly and the nighttime manager took care of it immediately. I was very grateful because it was needed for the next morning early.
I put the extra star for the excellent price during tourist season. At first sight we were like oh lord! From the side parking lot it looked not good. Once inside the lobby was pleasant and clean. The service was good, The room clean. A bit rundown and outdated. But on a whole a great place to stay on a budget. Will come here again.
